Welcome to Relax Kids in the South Hams
I offer relaxation services to parents, schools and the community. Teaching children how to use relaxation techniques to become more calm, confident and resilient.
Relax kids uses research based mindful and relaxation techniques alongside values and positive psychology (positivity, strength building, gratitude, resilience and compassion) to help support children’s emotional health and well-being. Offering classes in the local community, in schools and 1 2 1 sessions for children from 2 years to 8 years. (especially beneficial for children with SEN or anxiety).
My classes are currently aimed at children from ages 2 to 8 with the desire to teach older children in the future.
Little Stars
Aged 2 - 4
Introduce young children to relaxation and they will have tools to help them grow with resilience, confidence and self esteem. . Each week they will move and dance, play games, stretch and relax, listen to a story and use props and puppets to keep them fully entertained . Your child will have so much fun while engaging in activities that aid language, physical and emotional development, help with sleep, concentration and help behaviour problems,
Magical Adventures
Aged 4 - 8
Relax kids classes are fun and creative helping children become more resilient and improving their emotional well-being. They will learn skills for life: how to relax and improve their sleep, How to self soothe, How to increase their brain power, How to develop their self confidence and improve their sense of self, How to regulate their moods or emotions.
Chill Skills
Aged 11 - 16
Fun life skills classes for teens and young people. Learn how to relax and de-stress, achieve goals. Learn how to be positive and have powerful thoughts. Classes include: concentration games, mindful exercises, relaxation tips, confidence boosters, visualisations and mindfulness.

7 Steps
The unique 7 step programme teaches children great mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Learning relaxation from a young age will help children to manage their stress and stay in control and focused. This helps build confidence, self esteem and calm. A typical class includes warm up and movement exercises, fun drama based games, mindful games, basic yoga stretches, breathing exercises, positive affirmations and visualisations.
